POP quiz and more about regions
Friday in class we learned more about regions BUT we had a Pop Quiz. The quiz was actually really difficult. There was ten questions on the test, and he gave us fifteen seconds to come up with an answer. In doing this it was super difficult, because you had no time to think about the question, but it was also really good because we had to recall everything we learned very quickly, and do it before fifteen seconds. In a way it makes us remember it faster and better because we have to come up with it on spot, but in another way its bad because you have to come up with it on spot and you don't get to think about it. However I pulled a eighty percent on the quiz so i wasn't Happy about my grade but I was okay with it. After the quiz we went on to going over a functional and a vernacular region. We Learned that Functional region is a region is a region organized around a focal point. And a Vernacular region is a region is a area that people believe exists as part of their culture or identity, such as the South with farming.
