Asylum

Today in human geography with Mr. Schick we talked about being in a debate in class and debating about an Asylum in the U.S. We talked about how we have to be respectful and not get rowdy if we do try to do a debate. So Mr. Schick decided to do it based on Asylum, which is not regarding the hospital, it is regarding the U.S.A taking in other people in emigration. We then started to do a video that was about how we turned the Jewish people away when they came here for a place to stay in the 19 hundreds. Because of this we then went to why and how we went about doing this and all the laws we put in place about it. We also talked about how the untied states then went to taking in tons of people to make America look as if it were a great place and to make hundreds of other countrie look bad in the world view point.
